Erin Murphy b. 1990 is a visual artist from the United States, currently living and working in Oslo, Norway.
Her work spans painting, drawing, printmaking and installation; and explores the tensions between our real and imagined relationships to the physical world.
Pulling from naturalist poetry, symbolist painting, and the history of scenography, she creates fictionalised landscapes that explore wonder, imagination, and our tactile experience of nature.
